~~Welcome to my Website!! My name is Daniel Burns and hope you enjoy your experience here. Click on Visual art for paintings and drawings. Most of the pictures are mixed media using Acrylic paint and ink, water color, dye based ink, gauche and markers. The subject matter changes but I try to keep a contour drawing for all paintings. Click on Literature for some of my writings: a poem book and a story. I grew up in Detroit, Michigan then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and now have lived in Seattle, Washington for the last 14 years. All art work on the website has been made in Seattle. I have been doing art my entire life but I started documenting my artwork when I moved to Seattle. I have only taken a hand full of art classes in my life after high school. In High School, I spent most of my time in the art room. My degree is in Business Administration with an option in Entrepreneurship and minor in Political Science from the University of Washington. I hope you enjoy the day!
